About Us

Ansley Morris was formed in 2007 by Pat Arrowsmith. We are a Cotswold Morris side from Ansley Village in North Warwickshire. We are a women’s dance side with both male and female musicians. Our dances are mainly taken from Bampton, Bidford, Stanton Harcourt, Adderbury and the Ilmington traditions with an occasional dance adapted from other traditions.

We regularly dance out at local events such as fetes, flower festivals, local shows, charity events, WI and other local groups. We are available for bookings for events including charity events, weddings, stag and hen do’s, school workshops and lots more. We are happy to include audience participation/ workshops, teaching dances for all to join in. We will adapt to include anyone who wants to take part including those who need to sit or find difficulty in moving.

We practice on Thursday evenings from 6.45 pm – 8.45 pm at:

Ansley Village Church Hall, Birmingham Road, Ansley Village, Warwickshire. CV10 9PW.

If you are interested in getting involved and would like to come and see if it is for you, we welcome newcomers any Thursday. (Please check our calendar as we are out at events occasionally).
